Masters of Taste 2018
It's that time of year again! The 3rd annual Masters of Taste is upon us and tickets are on sale now at www.mastersoftaste.com! I say this every year, but MOT is seriously one of my favorite events of the year. I love this event because the lines don’t suck, it’s well-organized, the food is amazing, and 100% of the proceeds go to benefit the Union Station Homeless Services.
For those of you who have never attended a MOT food festival before, you are missing out! Hang out and walk the Rose Bowl Stadium field while enjoying unlimited food from some of L.A.’s best chefs and restaurants, wineries, craft breweries, and more! It's the perfect opportunity to run into and meet your favorite food influencers as they walk around and stuff their faces for this incredible cause.
Masters of Taste contributes 100% of all proceeds to support Union Station Homeless Services, a non-profit organization committed to helping homeless individuals and families rebuild their lives. In the event first two years, they raised nearly a million dollars!
Prepare your stomach for food, drink, and sweets from over 50 Culinary Masters and restaurants prepared by L.A.’s best. There will also be signature handcrafted cocktails and tastings from over 25 Beverage Masters.
I recently was invited to a preview to see what exciting dishes and restaurants will be at this year's Masters of Taste. If the preview was any indication, this year's MOT will be the best year. Here's what I loved from the preview:
Some early standouts were: Xo on Beverly’s Pho Matzoh Balls, The Spring’s hamachi crudo, M Cafe’s plant based deconstructed sushi salad with natto, Ayara Thai’s Northern Thai Braised Beef Khao Soi Noodle, Porto’s Arroz a la Inca, Mango Passion Fruit Chocolate Tart, and Almond and Guava Galette, G & T’s house infused English Cucumber Tonic, and SelvaRey’s Rum, which was co-founded by Bruno Mars.
See you at the Rose Bowl!
