Masters of Taste 2017 Preview
One of the most well planned out events I attended last year was the inaugural Masters of Taste Event held at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Not only was there good organization, minimal crowds and great food and booze, but the fact that 100% of the event proceeds went to Union Station Homeless Services made it a huge plus in my book. This year the event will be held on 5/7. In anticipation of the second event, the folks at Masters of Taste put together a preview of some of the vendors that will be there.
What to expect?
L.A.’s top chefs and restaurants will be on the field for the event. Sip handcrafted cocktails from L.A.’s Master Mixologists, enjoy tastings from some of California’s most eclectic wineries and local craft breweries, listen to live entertainment. More than 40+ restaurants, and 25+ craft beer, wine and spirits will serve unlimited tastings to all guests.
Past participants include Culinary Masters such as Neal Fraser (Redbird), Brendan Collins (Birch), Calogero Drago (Celestino), Chris Crary (Hyde Sunset), Shigefumi Tachibe (Osawa), Tim Guiltinan (The Raymond 1886) and many more. One of my favorites is Intro, which I wrote about previously with flying colors for Paste as well as Spireworks.
Another highlight for me was Bone Kettle, which recently just opened in Pasadena. Their bone broth dumplings were amazing. To purchase your ticket for this year's event visit https://mastersoftastela.com
See you guys there! Eat, drink, and party for a good cause! But in all seriousness, this is a a great event. It's really well done and not like the other outdoor events you may have attended in the past. Plus, how often can you get a photo of yourself on the field of the Rose Bowl Stadium?
