Starbucks' New Frapuccinos and Cookie Straws
New item alert! Starbucks has added two new frappuccinos to their summer menu: the Caramel Ribbon Swirl Frapuccino and the S'mores Frappuccino. The Caramel Ribbon Swirl tastes like a Caramel Frap, but slightly saltier like a salted caramel mix. As expected, the s'mores flavor tastes just like a s'more all bottled up. The biggest news, however is the addition of Starbucks' cookie straw, which undoubtedly was inspired by Dominique Ansel's Chocolate Chip Cookie milk shots. The Frappuccino cookie straws taste like a sweet cookie wafer with a chocolate ganache interior.
The straw goes great with a cold frap. I highly recommend giving it a try. My only complainant is that if you let the straw sit in the straw sit in the drink too long, it can start to get soggy. And if you are eating the straw while drinking, you'll be left with no straw for the end of your drink. Small details though. Still worth a try! You can purchase the cookie straw for 95 cents.
