Snorkeling with Dolphins on the Big Island of Hawaii

If you follow me on social media, you probably noticed that I just returned from another trip to Hawaii. I somehow manage to fall more and more in love with Hawaii with each trip and this trip was no different. I'm always amazed at how spectcular the food, culture, and people are. And just when you think you've seen and done it all... there's
more!
I've been on many snorkel cruises in Hawaii, but I have to say that the Rib craft Snorkel Adventure Cruise from the Four Seasons Resort Hualälai was by far the best I've ever experienced. I was able to see spinner dolphins, protected sea turtles, and see an endangered monk seal during our trip!!!
The 30’ Ribcraft was an enjoyable boat to be on. I've been on bigger and smaller boats and this was just the right size. I feel like Goldilocks, but it's true. I remember being on another island when I was on a cruise that lasted for 5+ hours. Despite the beautiful views, I was just about ready to throw myself overboard. The Rib craft Snorkel Adventure Cruise was no fuss. They got straight to the point. The captain dropped us off in crystal blue waters straight out of a postcard. What made this snorkeling experience better than any other I’ve ever done in Hawaii, is that since our boat departed straight from the Four Seasons Resort and not the harbor like all the other boats, we were able to explore areas that were not crowded with tourists.
The Four Seasons' boat is able to go much farther north than other boats due to distance from the harbor. The entire experience ends up being very intimate. Guests can choose their own adventure while on the Ribcraft with activities ranging from snorkeling, snorkel scooters, and other ocean activities. I particulaly enjoyed exploring the secluded beaches, secret snorkel spots, and, lucky for our group, a chance encounter with pods of dolphins swimming nearby!
