Build Your Own Coffee Bean Drinks + Happy Hour Specials

Summer is feeling hot and humid in Los Angeles these days. Luckily, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf has a new build-your-own Ice Blended option to take advantage of. Now through August 30th, you can customize your Ice Blended drink to your very liking by adding options such as  an Italian-inspired Affogato (an espresso shot pour over); Cookies (blending cookie sandwich pieces); Ultimate (Chocolate Espresso Beans) and Extreme (double the coffee). I spent this morning customizing my usual Vanilla Ice Blended to an extreme affogato style with added chocolate covered expresso beans. The chocolate covered expression beans added a mocha-like taste to the Ice Blended, which was the perfect morning waker-uper. It was fun to be able to mix and match specialty add-ins to craft my own verison of such a classic beverage!Since I had ordered the extreme Vanilla Ice Blended with double the coffee, I decided to order an nice summer drink without any coffee in it as well. Since I was heading towards the Malibu direction, I was inspired to order the Malibu Dream Ice Blended. It has strawberry banana juice blended with Coffee Bean's French Deluxe vanilla powder and ice topped off with whipped cream. Overall, I'm very happy to have the ability to customize and add more caffeine to my Ice Blended drinks. I typically love the Ice Blended drinks, but they never are able to give me enough of a caffiene kick to get my day started. This new option is definitely going to help me through the long summer days at work.
